Tucked away, not far from Union Square this bar has great cocktails, live music and a collection of old records and turntables.
-
Bix
Old school supper club. Great food, but you gotta dress a bit nice. Well worth it.

Toy Solder
You can’t go wrong on Belden Pace. But this is a great place to start for a drink and snack.
Places we’re not really supposed to tell people about, but whatever.
-
Local Edition
Located on Market St, but no real sign. 1920s style speakeasy with SF newspaper history.

Circa 1905
Go to the Barrel Room. Past the cash register is a staircase that leads to a basement cocktail bar. Act like you know what you’re doing.
-
15 Romolo
From Broadway, look up the street for a small neon sign. In North Beach, but a bit off the main drag.
Amazing stuff to do for absolutely no money.

Go around the back of Oracle Park (on the water side) and look for space behind right field. You can watch 3 innings totally free.

-
UN Plaza
SF recently reopened this section. First home of the UN, now has free corn hole, chess, and other outdoor recreation.
