    Harlan Records

    Tucked away, not far from Union Square this bar has great cocktails, live music and a collection of old records and turntables.

  • Bix

    Old school supper club. Great food, but you gotta dress a bit nice. Well worth it.

  • Toy Solder

    You can’t go wrong on Belden Pace. But this is a great place to start for a drink and snack.

    Officially this is the bus station. But go to the top and tour art, plants and history. Ongoing events, free art supplies as well.

    SF recently reopened this section. First home of the UN, now has free corn hole, chess, and other outdoor recreation.

  • Andy Goldworthy's Wood LIne

    North Beach (from Ferry Building)

    Walk along the water, up the beautiful staircases to Coit Tower. Grab a slice of pizza at Golden Boy, shop for Books at City Lights. Have a beer at the home of the Beat Generation and tour through stylish Jackson Square.

  • Civic Center and Hayes Valley

    City Hall and Hayes Valley

    A stunning walk that starts at City Hall and takes you through the Hayes Valley neighborhood, including an ice cream stop. Loop around and pop into the public library.

  • Glen Canyon Hike

    A hily urban hike through a great park. You’ll go up and back. There’s a market for a snack up top and a bar at the bottom. Easy to get to on BART. More hike than walk.
